The University of Alabama is an American University in Birmingham Alabama. The University is known for its medical centre, promoting education and research. The University of Alabama, with the support of the Fulbright Specialist Program which promotes collaboration between international professionals and academics, began to initiate a project with Kamuzu College of Nursing with the goal of integrating oncology into the curriculum and providing oncology educational support. The program hopes to foster continuing collaborations between KCN and The University of Alabama, both academically, through publications, conferences and workshops, but also to encourage collaborative research.
