The East Central and Southern Africa College of Nursing (ECSACON), brings together 14 regional states including Malawi with a mandate to advance health services and standards. ECSACON also aims to achieve uniformity of nursing acts in the regions.
With these goals in mind ECSACON has collaborated with Kamuzu College of Nursing since 2005 to develop a Masters Midwifery program. The development of MSc curriculum in community health is counted as one of the achievements of the partnership.
