Buskerud and Vestfold University College, also called University College of Southeast Norway, is a Norwegian University, based in Oslo. One of the key goals of the University is to internationalize education and research through international collaborations and partnerships. Kamuzu College of Nursing has had agreements with Buskerud and Vestfold University since 2008. The agreement has culminated in two main partnership objectives. From 2008 to 2013, there was a focus on the Development of a PhD program as well as BSc and MSc curriculum in midwifery. Looking forward from 2013 projecting to 2018, there is a new focus on faculty scholarships. These programs are collaborated under NUFU and the Norwegian Program for Development, Research and Education (NORHED). The NUFU program is designed to facilitate free academic research with Norwegian institutions encouraging educational co-operation.
