Michigan State University and Kamuzu College of Nursing have maintained collaborative agreements since 2013. Under this agreement there is facilitation of student and faculty exchange, collaborative research projects and the increased capacity building. One specific program allowed for the use of Michigan State University questionnaires to assess the quality of nurses on the basis of knowledge, availability of supplies, as well as issues of stigmatization of HIV.
