Norwegian Church Aid, is a UNHCR recognized Non-Governmental Organization based in Norway. Norwegian Church Aid is an organization with a variety of long-term and short-term objectives and projects. They provide emergency assistance, work for long-term development, and are also an advocacy group. Norwegian Church Aid, has been working with Kamuzu College of Nursing for a number of years. The main focus of the collaboration is the faculty/student exchange program. Between 2011 and 2014, 1, 427 students enrolled in Nursing in Malawi were assisted by the organization. In 2005 a project by Norwegian Church Aid, financially backed by the Norwegian Embassy, was created to improve nursing education in Malawi. Kamuzu College of Nursing was one of the Malawi partner participants. The collaboration saw partnerships formed between nursing colleges in Norway and Malawi, in an attempt to improve education.
