Kamuzu College of Nursing, a constituent college of the University of Malawi, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant post

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Basic Studies Department, the main purpose of the job is to teach, conduct research and publish in Health Service Management and Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

The following are some of the key responsibilities of the post:

1. Teaching students.
2. Planning, administering and processing students assessments.
3. Supervising students projects and dissertations and similar works.
4. Executing administrative duties assigned by the offices of the Principal, the Dean of Faculty of Nursing or Head of Department.
5. Conducting research, consultancy and publishing in relevant areas.

Education and Qualifications

Applicants must have at least a Master of Science degree in either Health Service Management, Nursing Management, Health Administration or Health management policy or related fields. Those with experience in teaching at an institution of higher learning will have an added advantage.
