Applicants for the position must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Master’s Degree with a specialization in Theatre Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or in Nursing and Midwifery with a distinction or credit
- at least 2 years’ bedside experience
- be registered and paid up member of the Nurses and Midwifery Council of Malawi, those with PhDs in the required field may be considered for position of senior lecturer depending on weighting of publications and those with experience in teaching at tertiary level will have an added advantage.
